I am an award winning machine quilter living in rural South Western Ontario Canada. I had been quilting for many years but really became enthusiastic when I discovered machine quilting. I have been quilting professionally since 2002. I believe quilting to be my own personal form of therapy I can go to my happy place when I am quilting. Every once in a while I have to assure my husband that this is less expensive than actual therapy, but between you and me I am sure he doesn't know what my "stash" really cost.

I had been teaching classes from my home for many years until October 2008 I began working at Joyce's Sewing Shop in London Ontario. There I was able to reach more people with my classes (and add even more gadgets and fabric to my stash). Joyce retired in March 2018 and the store closed. During my time there I increased my knowledge base to include embroidery software, I developed my own quilting patterns and classes on quilting both at a frame and sit down quilting machines.

Working at Joyce's I discovered some new addictions such as machine embroidery and digitizing my own embroderies using software. I began using and then teaching how to digitize with the software.

Starting in 2018 I began free lance teaching to try and bring my passion to as many people as possible. While I am free lancing and teach all over Ontario I also teach at a couple of local venues I can be found there when I am not on the road.  KandA Quilt Studio in beautiful Ingersoll Ontario and since July 2018 I also teach classes at TipTop Sewing Machine Services in London Ontario.
